American Women Quarters
Five new quarters will be minted for the next four years honoring notable women throughout United States History. Although they literally changed the worlds of art, aviation, human rights, education, and more, many of their stories have been left out of history books.
To drive interest in the American Women Quarters Program, we highlighted who these women are as individuals and who they could inspire. We tapped into specific audiences and their interests while highlighting the impact these women have on future generations.

These women got the job done. When there’s been a hard truth to face or a tough pill to swallow, it is women who consistently meet the challenge head on. History is filled with stories of women standing up and showing up for their passions, beliefs, and rights. Simply put, they weren’t willing to take “no” for an answer. These women knew their fight was not just about personal glory but creating a lasting change for all Americans.

Inspiration is the seed of progress. Just as one act can change the world, one person can inspire generations. These women, and their incredible stories, have helped shape the world we live in today. More than a history lesson, their lives are guidebooks of courage, grace, and determination. We see them not only for who they are and what they achieved, but we also see ourselves. We see who we want to become and the heights we aspire to. We see Portraits of Change.
